Biography

Colin Wallis is a member of the OASIS eGov Member Section Steering Committee; his term extends to 2011.

Colin Wallis is the Identity Standards Manager, Government Technology Services at the State Services Commission of the New Zealand Government. Mr. Wallis has been involved in international standards work since 2000, initially in the UK. Colin has been part of the New Zealand delegation on ISO JTC1 SC27 (with a specialty in Working Group 5, (Identity Management) where he was known as a subject matter expert.  Colin is the Chair the eGov Special Interest Group at the Liberty Alliance Project, a consortium specialising in Identity Management. He play a passive role on the Security Services and Customer Information Quality OASIS Technical Committees, as well as he is active in his current role on the eGov Steering Committee. Mr. Wallis is the OASIS primary voting representative for the State Services Commission of the New Zealand Government. He is also his organisation's delegate on the eGov group (TBG 19) at UN/CEFACT.
